4 days to go!

I finally got everything in the suitcase and zipped it up. Poor Tallie, she just gave me the sad eyes, laid down and pouted. She has finally figured out something is going on.

Bruce weighed the suitcase for me. 63 pounds. Time to start the shuffle between the suitcase and the carry on and figure out what to leave home, it's a 50 pound limit, 8 pounds is maple syrup for gifts. I thought about just paying the overage fee, until I realized how much it is. I'll leave the clothes at home if I have to! I don't feel like I have that much in the suitcase, it must weigh 20 pounds empty! LOL! I'm pretty sure when I get there I will be able to put the carry on inside the suitcase and have 1 less thing to carry. I wonder how I will weigh it when it's time to come home? I will have to cross that bridge when I get to it. When Megan gets home from mid-service training we will have to decide if there is anything I can leave behind.

I still need to do the grocery shopping, finish paying bills, finish a few chores around the house, and have a much needed massage on Monday. It's getting hard to sleep at night! Exciting times!
